I'm not going to call
But I want to

But I need to

I need to hear your velvety voice
which springs from your blessed soul
Your voice of poise
Your voice of passion
that only I know

I'm not going to call
You (we?) need the space
Space to reflect and meditate
To see the reality of our love

As someone once said, but
I can't help it, if I wanted to
I can't help it, even if I could

I must reach out
to touch you
If only by email
If only by voicemail

Forgive me for needing to fill
The vacuum in my soul
A vacuum only you can fill
Fulfill

My expressions will be in poetry and song
Praying that we can overcome my wrongs.
