Dear ,

As the recent emails with links to our new articles show, we haven’t
really gone anywhere. But it’s been a while since we’ve sent a newsletter,
so here goes!

------------------------------------------------------

ROMANCE PRAYERS – Instead of the romance and relationship quotes that we
usually have in this space, here’s a spouse’s prayer to meditate upon
before, during and after Valentine’s.

It applies to committed relationships, even if you’re not married.
Although it’s from a Christian perspective, it can be applied to any faith
background, because the principles are universal.

SPOUSE'S PRAYER

Lord Jesus,
grant that I and my spouse may have a true
and understanding love for each other.
Grant that we may both
be filled with faith and trust.
Give us the grace to live
with each other in peace and harmony.

May we always bear with one another's weaknesses
and grow from each other's strengths.
help us to forgive one another's failings
and grant us patience, kindness, cheerfulness
and the spirit of placing the well-being
of one another ahead of self.

May the love that brought us together
grow and mature with each passing year.
Bring us both ever closer to You
through our love for each other.
Let our love grow to perfection

VALENTINE’S TIPS and a GREAT OFFER FROM PAYPAL

We hope you took some time to read our article on Romance and Rose Petals
and will perhaps use some of our suggestions to help create some special
moments this Valentine’s.

You can review our latest articles from this year in the New Articles
category we’ve put up at Voices of Romance for many tips:

http://www.voicesofromance.com/intimate_zone/article.html

But as this is just a few days before February 14th, we ask you to take
some quiet time, even if you’ve gotten your Valentine’s gifts, and think
of something creative that you can offer to your sweetheart that he or she
will never forget.

If it’s from your heart, it can be even more valuable than an expensive
gift and last forever in memory.

And consider sending one of our romantic audio poems for a gift unlike all
other online cards: http://www.voicesofromance.com/evoice_poems.php.

And if you have never purchased a gift from our site because you don’t
like to use Paypal or don’t have a Paypal account, there’s a great deal
that Paypal is offering:

FOR PAYPAL MEMBERS (the account is free) ALL PURCHASES OVER $30 THEY
OFFERING A $15 REBATE! Sign up for the rebate program at

and please purchase from our Romantic Gifts sections for your gifts!

ROMANCE AS A “CULTURE”

What’s the culture of your relationship? What the storyline, the rituals
you engage in, the environment the two of you create and innovate?

Culture involves all of those things. And though we usually exist within a
culture without thinking about it consciously, we urge you to make a
conscious choice to look at your relationship as a culture, an environment
that will either bring growth and fulfillment to you and those around you,
or will be a detriment to each and those around you because of blame,
criticism, infidelity and the like.

In coming emails and newsletters, we’ll give ways to make sure that the
culture of your love relationships is and remains healthy.

But here’s a statistic to ponder: successful couples give one another
appreciation and praise at least five times for every time they blame or
criticize each other. For many, there’s a 10:1 or 20:1 ratio of praise to
criticism.

In a recent webcast we discussed these topics and much more. Make sure to
give a listen. Just have your speakers on, and the show will begin on its
own:

Have a wonderful Valentine’s!!

Romantically yours,
Greg Thomas and Jewel Kinch
