Author/Writer Submission Agreement

Voices of Romance welcomes submissions for poems, romantic gestures and passion interludes. It's quite easy to submit your material. First, you'll need to register. It's easy to do and it's quick.

Currently, contributors are not paid for their submissions. However, contributors are provided a byline and hyperlink to their Web site if provided. Publication of all submitted material will be at the sole discretion of the Publisher.

Edits and/or Revisions
Publisher agrees to make comments and/or editorial recommendations, in its sole discretion, available to the Author/Writer.

Assignment
All material submitted to VoicesofRomance.com including, but not limited to, poems, essays, column articles, gestures, tips and Romantic Tales assign to VoicesofRomance.com the right to publish their text, illustrations and photographs electronically on the VoicesofRomance.com Web site and to archive in its database and make it permanently available electronically on the RomanceEverAfter.com Web site. The author/writer retains the copyright and, after it has appeared on the VoicesofRomance.com Web site, may republish it in any form the author wishes.

Representations, Warranties and Indemnities
Author/Writer represents and warrants to Publisher that (i) Author/Writer is the sole owner of the material and has full authority to enter into this Agreement and grant the rights in section "Assignment" in this Agreement; (ii) the material does not, and if published will not, infringe upon any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any third party; (iii) the material contains no obscene, libelous, violative of any third party’s right of privacy or publicity, or the right of any third party; (iv) all statements of fact in the material are true and based on diligent research; (v) all advice and instruction in the material is safe and not negligent or defective in any manner.

Author/Writer shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Publisher, its subsidiaries and affiliates, from any and all claims, debts, demands, suits, actions, proceedings, and/or prosecutions based on allegations which, if true, would constitute a breach of any of the foregoing warranties and representations or any other obligation of Author/Writer under this Agreement, and any and all liabilities, losses, expenses (including attorneys’ fees and costs) and damages in consequence thereof.

VoicesofRomance.com will have full RIGHTS for editing and rewriting of submitted poems as necessary. VoicesofRomance.com reserves the right to not display or post any submissions we deem inappropriate or unacceptable. By submitting material to VoicesofRomance.com, you agree we can display, modify, transmit, distribute or delete your posting without needing prior or further consent from you. Submissions may be removed any time at our sole discretion. Authors who submit their poems to us, retain their copyrights, but grant VoicesofRomance.com irrevocable world wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute their submitted material in printed form or by any other medium, and forego any payment or compensation for the submitted material.

Please note: Most poetry submissions are reviewed within 30 days. However, this does not mean that your poem will be posted.

Submission Process
Submit your poem via e-mail to editors@voicesofromance.com with the words “Poetry Submission” in the subject line.

At the top of your e-mail submission, please type:

• Your Name
• Pen Name, if applicable
• The e-mail address through which you wish us to correspond, preferably the one that you sent the note through
• If your poem has been published before, please inform us where it was first published. Otherwise, just put "Unpublished".
• The Title of Your Poem
• Then the Poem.

VoicesofRomance.com reserves the right to change these guidelines at any time. Submission of material indicates acceptance of these guidelines.
